The Atelier — Pink Diamond Engagement Ring

A plain solitaire centre on a band worked in curved rows of diamond. The contrast between the two is where the craft shows.

A 6.5 mm round cut lab grown pink diamond of one carat VS1 clarity sits in a basket setting, open beneath so light reaches the pavilion. Around and below, forty-two round brilliant white diamonds are arranged in curving rows that wrap the finger, most of them under a millimetre, which is what gives the band its fine, made-by-hand texture. Each centre stone is independently certified by the International Gemological Institute.

A ring for dinners, ceremonies, and the ordinary days in between.
